Thoughts

2 years on since your were taken Dad, still forever in our thoughts and memories, all of which are good. The stories still continue to be told about what a lovely, thoughtful fella you were - to me you gave us everything, you worked so hard giving us the life stile we grew up with and for that I will always be eternally grateful. Love and miss you Dad, until we meet again, sleep tight xxx

Strangely, I woke up in the middle of this morning thinking about Brian and Joan and immediately did a search on the internet to find out Brian was no longer with us for some time now. Like others have expressed, Brian and Joan were like a family to me and regret not being able to get in touch earlier. The Finch family were great to me throughout the period I knew them whilst playing for Mills. Belated it may be, but my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to all - Joan, Andy, Sharon, Kirsty and Norman (and to all others..names i cant remember) RIP Boss Love Ash (Ashraf Hussain - 07985129477)

Just want you all to know i will always be grateful for what BRIAN did for me when I was a kid and growing up. I’ll never forget the time everyone at Batley Crusaders-bought new tracksuits and hold-alls for a tournament. My parents couldn’t afford them(no thanks to my dad) and Brian turned up at my house with new tracksuit and hold-all for me. You made me feel like one of your own. All the lifts too and from training sessions and same on match days, it didn’t matter where we were playing you always got me to the game. I just want to thank you both so much, stay strong love Wayne xx Goodnight boss xx
